Lashbrooks is a husband and wife singer/songwriter team, who have created a style of their own by fusing Blues, Rock n Roll, Bluegrass and Folk music influences and original, thought provoking, and heartfelt lyrics. Troy and Rhonda come from different parts of the country and two different musical worlds. Rhonda spent several years in Nashville, TN as a record label executive and soon realized that she was on the wrong side of the fence. Troy calls her his "Southern Belle", and her southern background is evident in her sultry and sassy vocals and "from the heart" lyrics. In contrast, Troy is a self proclaimed "Yankee" with a fun-loving personality and astounding musical talents. His ability to make the guitar speak softly or make you say "wow" is the perfect touch to Rhonda's versatile songwriting. Troy spent years on the road with a variety of bands and decided to make his return to the stage when he met Rhonda, the love of his life! It's an unlikely union of souls, but it works! This is magic in every sense of the word!
