Veva S. Dunckel, a native of New Jersey, who once experienced a surprise visit by Jacqueline Onassis Kennedy accompanied by with a group riding horses though her backyard. She is a graduate of Syracuse University and Georgia State University. She has worked as a New York fabric and needlework designer and a special art education teacher, but now concentrates solely on her art. Veva creates with an award-winning world of color and texture through combinations of canvas, collage, board and added materials. Her work is influenced by extensive travels throughout the world including trips to India, China, France, England and Guatemala. Veva attributes her success to her ability to remain focused and maintain her personal momentum. She continues to develop and expand her own style.
